What: Front man of Canadian rock band Our Lady Peace’s solo side project. 2007 full length Hunter’s Lullaby and 2006 EP Love Hope Hero.
Where: Currently on tour with OLP through the end of August.
Why: You get the beautiful, haunting sounds of OLP combined with a combo of pseudo hip-hop beats, acoustic and electric rock (Think Mat Kearney circa Nothing Left To Lose with scratchier vox). If you like OLP, you can’t miss solo Raine.

Who: Katzenjammer
What: Four Norwegian girls playing folk fused with pop, punk, caberet, and whatever else inspires them
Where: Just played at Bonnaroo, currently touring Norway and Germany, and scheduled for Summerfest in Michigan next month
Why: These girls play every instrument under the sun - in addition to the standard guitar, bass, piano, they also include accordian, mandolin, zylophone, and countless others.
